1. Does It Match the Actual Paper Structure?
CA Inter has six papers across two groups, 100 marks each, with roughly 70% descriptive and 30% case study MCQs. A test series that skips the MCQ portion or tests only descriptive content is not preparing you for the real paper.
2. Is the Syllabus Current?
ICAI updates topic weightage between attempts. Cross-check the test series content against the official syllabus before assuming it is up to date for your attempt.
3. Does It Offer Group-Wise Testing?
Group I and Group II require different preparation approaches. A test series worth enrolling in should let you attempt them separately, so you can track each group's readiness on its own.

4. Is Evaluator Feedback Actually Detailed?
A score alone tells you very little. Check whether evaluated papers come with specific comments on presentation, missed provisions, and time management, not just a number at the top of the page.
5. What Does the Fee Actually Include?
Before comparing prices across platforms, check the fee structure line by line. Some plans charge extra for evaluated feedback or limit the number of full mocks included, which changes the real value significantly.
6. Does It Fit Your Study Schedule?
Working professionals, articleship trainees, and self-study students all need different levels of flexibility.
- Self-paced access matters if you cannot commit to fixed test dates
- Weekend or evening slots matter if you are balancing work or training hours
- A rigid, fixed schedule may not suit every student, even if the content quality is strong
7. Do Past Test Formats Match Recent ICAI Papers?
Ask whether the test series updates its question style based on recent ICAI exam trends, or reuses the same set of papers repeatedly. Static content stops being useful once the exam pattern shifts even slightly.
