CA Foundation Exam: Eligibility Criteria

Students must get a minimum passing grade of 40% in each paper and a combined total of 50% for all courses in order to pass the CA Foundation exams. 

Therefore, in order to pass the CA Foundation exams, candidates must have an overall score of at least 200. 

Students must now achieve a minimum score of 50% in each subject in the new ICAI CA Course curriculum in order to pass that subject.

CA Foundation January 2025 Exam: How To Register Online?

To register for the CA Foundation Course online follow these steps:

  1. Go to the ICAI website – icaiexam.icai.org or click here.
  2. Enter the required information and then choose Generate OTP. The OTP will be emailed to your registered email address or mobile number.
  3. Enter the OTP obtained to validate your account. You will then get the login credentials through Email or SMS.
  4. Next, log in to the ICAI website using the supplied credentials.
  5. Choose Student Cycle and then CA Foundation Course.
  6. The form will appear in the next window, with some fields pre-filled. You must enter the remaining information and click Save and Next.
  7. Scan the needed papers and submit them online.
  8. Next, Upload your Photo/ Signature. The image must be of size up to 100KB.
  9. After completing all the required information and paperwork, you must pay the CA Foundations registration fees.
  10. Take a printout of the registration form. Add the required documents. Lastly, you have to mail them to the ICAI address.

Students please note: 

ICAI will send the CA Foundation study material to the candidates through the Centralized Dispatch System(CDS) once the registration process is complete.

Important Update regarding Registration Fee: 

The CA foundation Fees have been changed by ICAI. The ICAI has given the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and the 8 North-Eastern states a 75% discount on their fees. 

So, students who live in these places only have to pay Rs 2250 to join the CA Foundation.

How to Check the CA Foundation January 2025 Registration Status?

The CA Foundation examinations are conducted twice each year. The CA Foundation registration is valid for three years, or six tries, once registered. And after three years, you may revalidate your registration for Rs 300/-

What after CA Foundation Exam Registration January 2025 ?
